The owner was extremely helpful and was always happy to help - from helping us find a parking space to general chit chat and helping us choose restaurants and cooking breakfast! We were a group of two young couples (aged 19-22) and had the family room for 5 at the top of the stairs (I think it was room 8) and the room was exactly as it had been advertised - very spacious and very clean/homely. The Food was Fantastic, Dave the owner and his Daughter were the two nicest people i have ever met they could not do enough for you.
Nothing was too much trouble for them.It was an absolute joy staying thier and i will be going again. I also recomend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Blackpool. Stay at the Blue Bell you will have a great time.
Great value, nice clean comfortable hotel. Dave the owner was very friendly could not have been more helpful and was brilliant with the kids who loved it there. The breakfast was one if the best I can remember. Hotel is in a great location and I highly recommend this place and will definitely come to stay again. 10 out of 10.
Good location, near the sea front and Pleasure Beach. Very nice cooked breakfast. Friendly owner waited up til nearly midnight for us to check in, and let us leave our bags at the hotel on the last day while we went out sightseeing before getting our train.
owner could not do more to help us including moving his car so we had a space to park. They were really good about us taking the dogs too. Would stay their again no problems.
The hotel was family run by lovely welcoming people. Very close to the beach. The breakfast was cooked to order, lovely fresh mushrooms. Great breakfast. Dog friendly too.
Rooms were spacious accommodated our needs travelling with a group of friends :) staff were very friendly and breakfast was AMAZING :p would definitely stay again !!.
The owner was lovely, and couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms were clean and a reasonable size. the hotel was also nicely located, just off the sea front.

I liked everything about this hotel would defo be the best one we have stayed in and the only one I would be going back to. The whole experience was great, fantastic staff and accomodation and an enormous delicious breakfast. Very helpful.

The 5-bed room was small for 4 of us - it would be very tight for 5 adults. The bathroom area was cramped and in quite poor condition. The curtain rail above the head end of the top bunk was broken and dangling off the wall. The sheets on the top bunk were not clean.
We didn't end up staying at this hotel as we moved to another nicer, same-priced, Blackpool 3-star hotel.
