  Room was so beautiful we wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel bit far from centre but we liked it that way. Walking was easy and park and ride was conveniently close although car park gets full quickly. Would love to go back in the summer.   We had a brilliant 2 day stay here. The room was fitted out really well and to a high standard, e.g. a memory foam mattress and a really solid, classy bathroom with a super shower that pleased the American boyfriend who's always amazed at our piddly English offerings...in this case he got 2 shower heads at full force! Breakfast was plentiful and ... o que as pessoas dizem » tasty and we felt really at home. It's a one mile walk into the city, which suited us fine. Taxi fares back were £6-7ish but Catherine and Jamie seeme - A wonderful home away from home. A very neat place, Jamie and Catherine are the most friendly hosts I have ever met. Offered me a lift into town, my room was beautiful with a beautiful view of the city of Bath from the verandah. My breakfast was cooked to my needs. I will definitely stay here again and again. Oh I forgot to mention the Spa session in a 5 star hotel I got as a gift for staying 2 nights. I also got 25% discount on my spa treatment just because Catherine is a member. Bodhi house i

Thoughtfulness for guests little touches such as fresh milk available to go with tea trays. crisps / chocolate available to purchase. Free Wifi. A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

  I stayed for 1 night whilst attending a wedding in Bath and had a very pleasant stay. I had been in correspondence with the owner prior to arrival as I knew I would be in Bath for around midday so requested an early check in- he was very accommodating throughout and when I arrived my room was ready. The next morning I came down for breakfast at 9:50 as I hadn't been told that it was served at 9 - Great location and hospitality from the owner "Giac" Unusual to receive a text both before and on the day of arrival but very welcome (and sensible!) We were able to confirm what time we wanted to arrive and check in. Room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed) The shower was great too. Breakfast is taken in the basement kitchen and was fresh and wonderful quality. It is only a 10minute walk or so into the city so was a great location for going in to shop and leter to have dinner.
