The bar was comfortable and had a relaxed and happy feel, whether during the day or the evening.   Lovely large room with huge bathroom, the freestanding bath was a really nice feature, the only problem being inadequate lighting in the bedroom area - lovely lamps etc but I couldn't see what I was getting out of my case properly!!. Location is great and a good selection to choose from at breakfast - service was a bit haphazard but the food was really nice. Free Wifi. A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

Our room was very comfortable with a king size bed and on suite bathroom. The food was amazing! Have the fish pie, it's to die for!
