Each individually decorated room at the Hill House comes equipped with a modern tiled bathroom. They also feature a 32-inch flat-screen LCD TV and a hairdryer.
Guests can enjoy the communal aspect of the large breakfast table in the breakfast room, which was once the vintners shop.
The house is located within a 5-minute walk of the Bath Assembly Rooms and the famous historical Roman Baths are less than a mile away.

Service - we had the warmest welcome - the hosts were amazing. Very friendly and informative - full of tips on where to go to eat and drink. Nothing was too much trouble - they provided a free parking permit for us and even moved thier own car so that we could park closer. They went out of thier way to make our stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. The breakfasts were fantastic. We stayed at Hill House on a 4 day bank holiday weekend during our two week tour of England. It was the best b&b we stayed at during the trip.
Room #5 was a hike to get to on the third floor but worth it. The room was tastefully decorated with just enough space for our needs. The shower only bathroom was spacious and modern. The room was quite quiet with a great view.
Harry and Douglas and Al were the consummate hosts with an encyclopedic knowledge of Bath restaurants, attractions and event.
Beautiful & cozy house with lovely decor and attention to detail (milk & biscuits in the room). Our room number 5 had beautiful views and the bathroom was very spacious. Yummy breakfast in the morning that changed every day to keep you going during the day. Thank you to Harry & Douglas whom were great hostess and couldn't do enough for us.
We will back & certainly recommend this beautiful B&B.

This B&B was wonderful! The breakfast was delicious every morning and chatting with other guests before the day started was fun. The hosts were extremely helpful and inviting. The tiny downside is that the B&B is on a hill, so the walk from the town center can be tiring. Definitely would not deter us from staying here again. Overall, it is a wonderful B&B and we would gladly stay here again.
Easy to find, we were greeted by one of the host's, who gave us a cup of tea and took our bag up to our room while my husband parked up, everything was so easy and unhurried, you really felt welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast which was not only delicious, but sitting at the dining table meeting guests from the USA was so informal and a lovely surprise. Loved the house and wat to live there!.
Immaculately kept and well-designed rooms; brilliant breakfast - both cold fruit & cereal buffet and daily hot options made to order; fabulously inviting hosts who could not do enough for us and made every guest feel welcome and each stay personalised. Great location as well. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bath on subsequent visits!.
Staff were fabulous, funny entertaining and really helpful in letting us know the best things to do in Bath. Beautiful suite, very clean and had everything we needed. Little touches like fresh water outside the room & the loan of a parking permit for the duration of our stay topped off a great experience, would highly recommend.
Absolutely excellent! Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The owners were wonderful with nothing too much trouble; directed us to a parking space, our Fizz was chilled as soon as we arrived and champagne glasses provided without even needing to ask. Just lovely, wish our stay had been longer (2 nights). Will definitely return.
From the moment we arrived, we were made very welcome. Harry gave us loads of information about bars, restaurants, places of interest etc. The hotel is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The room was lovely, the breakfast cooked by Douglas was perfect, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bath.

Everything about this place is superb. You are made to feel like an old family friend by the superb owners. Location is brilliant short walk the centre. Rooms and breakfast both beautiful. You get the feeling that the owners would go out of way to deal with any request you had. Would definitely go back.
We liked the mixture of old charm and modern elegance. The hosts were incredibly accommodating with attention to every detail. Tea, shortbreads, brownies and cold water were provided; breakfast was lovely and filling. One would be hard-pressed to find a better venue in Bath.

Me and my wife went here for our first wedding anniversary and we couldn't of wished for a nicer place and the 2 owners couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely reccomend and would definitely go back if we visited bath again.
The owners were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was delicious and much more food than we could eat. It was a little out of the way to main attractions but not an inconvenience at all & it was nice & quiet at night.

Hill House is tastefully furnished throughout with some entertaining art work. Douglas was a charming host who kindly made us a cup of tea when we arrived. It was lovely to have fresh milk in our room for our hot drinks.

Accommodation in Bath seems expensive no matter where you go, so this is not a direct reflection on Hill House as they were a similar price to others, but the overnight stay cost more than I would have liked.

Hill House aptly named as it sure is a steep walk to central Bath. Parking spots hard to find in local streets, but it was peak holiday time.
