Situated 10 minutes’ drive from the historic market town of Arundel, Medlar Cottage takes its name from a Medlar tree in its back garden. Free on-site parking is available, and each guest room has far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside.

Jelly made from the Medlar tree’s fruit is served at breakfast, along with full English options, homemade bread & croissants and seasonal fresh fruit.
The South Downs National Park is under a mile away and offers scenic walks amongst ancient woodlands and river valleys. Cycling and horse riding can also be enjoyed. Independent shops, restaurants & pubs and a medieval castle are featured in Arundel town centre.

We enjoyed our stay immensely, from the warm welcome to the great breakfast selection including home made jams. The room was large and clean, with views overlooking the countryside, there were a variety of board games, information about the area, reading books and a selection dvd's. The owners were very hospitable and made you feel very at home during our stay.
Both Jenny and Tony were wonderful hosts.There was an excellent choice of breakfasts, all cooked to our liking and always the question "would you like anything else"! The location and the house were lovely, being close to Arundel and we thoroughly enjoyed our break.todos opiniões »
