  Lovely friendly service and fantastic food in the fine dining restaurant. It finds the balance between luxury and comfort really nicely. Not too posh, but very polished and welcoming. We were able to unwind and had a very relaxing stay. It was nice to see families in the hotel and we liked the family friendly atmosphere. The menu was varied, the food healthy and beautifully presented and the room was spacious. The double bed was also a good size and very comfortable. The surroundings with sea view and flowered gardens were spectacular.

  Dont judge the hotel from the outside which looks tired and dated once inside you are in for a pleasant suprise. The foyer and reception area are bright and modern and the staff pleasant and helpfull. Our rooms were spotless and well equipped. All in all a great hotel and excellent value for money. Would certainly stay there again. Many thanks. Hotel close enough to town centre to walk(it took about 20 mins).Rooms all non smoking.Our first time at Thistle Hotel and will book in on our next visit to Inverness.
