We just loved this place! The owners made us feel so welcome, attending
to our needs and sharing stories. They invited us to join a bbq in the
evening, offered us a ride to center when they were going, etc. The view
from the back terrace (with a nice relaxing area) is green rice fields
and hills. And from the restaurant/reception you can see the river
flowing by. The food was delicious, and for breakfast we got to choose
what we want. The place is only few months old, everything is new and

Lek house is not in the center of Chiang Rai but not too long a walk
from the Bus Stattion, Clock Tower or Night Bazaar. I had a problem with
the toilet in my room, so they "upgrade" me to an ac room
w/TV for no extra charge. The peole who run Lek house are wondeful

It was located in front of a small lake. So nice n lovely! Enjoyable to sit spending time n rekaxing. The staff were very helpful n friendly enough. Comfortable common open lounge upstairs, lovely! I would say lovely n cozy considering just 450Baht per night. Breakfast included. One of the best I have stayed at during my ling traveling among the budget hostels!
