A value for money hotel whos renovations did not disturb the running of the hotel in an excellent location, do not be affraid to use tax and tut tut from outside the hotel, ask to be on meter or a price in advance,...bell boy pun special thanks, always there to lend a hand with a smile on his face. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they didn't charge me extra for the speed laundry service when they should according to the hotel's policy. A 5 star experience in a 4 star hotel for a low budget price. Love it!.

The breakfast is quiet nice with a choice of thai food and European standards (additional B295 if not booked in upfront with room). - value for money - nothing fancy, but clean and well furnished - free wifi throughout hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Its peaceful and away from the crowds. The bed was very comfortable n i got a room with good lighting facing the road. rooms excellent and modern. location is good.staff. Walking distance to France Embassy, near the Chao prayah River and shopping center. Staffs are friendly. Glasses in the bathroom and then being charged 100 baht for a genuine accidental breakage, they should have plastic from a safety point of view as my partner then had glass in his foot. Please use plastic for safety...... No breakfast included. I found the restaurant a bit on the higher side. Location is far from major shopping complex. The pool was closed the whole time (we stayed three days) although the receptionist said it would be open again, so we got dressed up with bath clothes and stand in front of a closed pool two times. The rooms were basically good (not considering it's a four star hotel) but we had to move after the first night as there were plenty of ants along the wall and desk! Reaction of the hotel was quick though and ants are in Thailand not quiet rare, but I expected other in a hotel announced like this. - exterior looks old and shabby, inside recently renovated and re-opened - we were told breakfast was till, 10.30 but was only till 10.00 so the buffet was already empty by 10.05... they made us some toast and eggs - staff speaks little english. Little away from the sky train. Cracks in the floorings. Lack of good views from the hotel and the shower didnt work properly. The water is a nightmare tooo hot or cold i did like cold showere at all. no outside pool area inside pool not operable long way from sky train and metro would not choose this hotel again very few restuarants close. no general facilities in room for a four star.internet is poor. shower is very bad with uncertain hot and cold water and no water. There was a cockroach on the toilet, curtains were dirty and with holes, dark hallway, small room and very tight bathroom. Cold shower! we arrived late in Bangkok and decided to eat in the hotel. The menu is very small, and the food that was presented was still frozen! Breakfast is voor apr 400 B, but the quality is low.
