  The location is very close to the train station was great for me on an interrail ticket. I needed an early start before breakfast was served and was told I could get something from the kitchen if I liked! I was also offered a cup of coffee as I was going out the door at 6am.   The main advantage is the location - right by the beautiful Vogorno lake. Eating breakfast or dinner on the terrace overlooking the lake was wonderful. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful. The restaurant is good and serves great pizzas in decent prices. The rooms are clean and basic. And the hotel is very close to the Verzasca valley main ... o que as pessoas dizem » attractions, as well as to Ascona and Locarno. - Fantastic location with a sublime drive to it. Parking on site. Lake view rooms really are just that with panoramic views Overlooking the lake. We ate in the restaurant downstairs which was popular with Italians from far and wide and we tasted why -25/30 euros per head for a starter, main and wine all freshly prepared. Staff were friendly and all in all for the price a great place.

  I really enjoyed our stay at Besso and intend to stay there again. The staff is really friendly. The hotel is clean and near to the station. I had my dogs with me and it was a pleasant stay for all of us - The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help. The small circulating fan in the room was also helpful.   The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful and provide an excellent service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant provides an excellent and well-prepared selection for those who like fish or vegetarian menus as well as meat dishes.
