The guy went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay at the richmond from the fruits, dates and nutts to going up to the room to make sure everything is up to the standard we expect from the richmond.   The location was great with having the train across the street for access for day trips. You can also get a pass from the hotel for free train rides to Montreux and Lausanne. The rooms are perfectly designed, minimalist styling but everything you need. Great mountain/lake views every morning too. You ca - This is a very nice, very modern hotel in a great location. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. They gave us free tickets to ride the train to Montreux and half off cards for Chillon Castle! The windows/door are very sound proof so even though it's close to the road and train station, noise is not a problem at all when everything is closed. The terrasse is a lovely view to have a drink and/or snack.

  Modern hotel 2 blocks from lake and all the 5 star hotels but not at a 5 star price. Every member of the staff was nice and helpful. Very convenient to bus (tours) and great restaurants. My last day I asked if they had bottled water to take, they did not but offered to run to the store for me. Highly recommend. - Almost everything! The room was nice, the food was great, the staff were very helpful in every aspect. I really recommend this hotel especially for honeymooners and people looking for high standards. Special thanks to the guys on the reception desk who I cant remember their names unfortunately.

  The hotel was right on the lakefront/harbor with a great view from the lakeview room. The underground parking was great for a car trip stop and access to the hotel/lobby was easy and well laid out. Again was 100% with the room, especially with bed and pillows. Love design of the room. My mother stayed of the standard room and it was also very nice. Location of the hotel, imho, is better than in the city center - you are close to the lake and can enjoy it. Getting to every part of the city is sipmle - 2 min walk to Metro station. And a small supermarket nearby.
