  this is probably the best hotel in basel. room and bathroom are spacious. the river view room is magnificent. restaurants offer great food. staff are well experienced and helpful. everything is just beautiful. - The quiet.   Hotel was clean and modern with good sized rooms and excellent bathroom/shower. I liked the fridge in the bedroom as I could store snacks and drinks for two small kids - also the coffee section in the reception was useful. My son liked the billiards and table football ! The car park was convenient as was the Stucki shopping mall. For my liking the hotel bar could do with not closing at midnight. There is a good free Tea/Coffee making machine in the hotel lobby. I believe that this is a good hotel to stay at for both business and leisure, we would stay here again.

  It was a fantastic stay with this Hostel..clean.. lovely food.. quit with excellent scenery out side and great atmosphere inside... The staff at the reception were very helpful and put up well with a panicked traveler. The babbling brook right outside is a very nice touch. Breakfast is good. Nice bread, nice cheeses, yogurt, cereals, coffee is gratis in the morning. Overall, it's a very nice hostel though only a hostel which are generally only as good as the guests who are present.
