Camping Santa Monica is located in scenic Alpine surroundings in the village of Raron, next to the cable car to Unterbäch and 400 metres from the Raron Train Station. It offers fully equipped bungalows and mobile homes, and a swimming pool.
All units have a bathroom, a kitchenette with all necessary cutlery, crockery and cookware. Satellite TV and a radio are there as well. You can also spend relaxing hours on the covered terrace.
Apart from the pool, there is also a playground and a playroom for children, a reading room, a ping-pong table and a boccia area. Next to the campground there is a quiet area with benches on the banks of a small lake.
Several restaurants can be found in the centre of Raron, 400 metres away. There you can also borrow bicycles for free.
Camping Santa Monica is also a convenient base for hikes to the Aletsch Glacier, to Zermatt, the Saas Valley and to the Lötschental valley. Visp is 7 km and Brig is 15 km away.

Absolutely loved Alex at the desk. He was super helpful. Loved the whole campsite actually. If I could go back tomorrow, I would!
My husband and I enjoyed our trip immensley. Great place to venture off to Zermatt or Saas-Fe, yet still affordable.
The camp was lovely, easy to find, straight forward and clean.

the bunk house wasn't two beds, it was a single with a pull out underneath, If I had realized that for a little more money the boys could have had a proper room with a toilet, shower and t.v I would have paid the extra. Because of this I feel the price was far to much for what they got.
