Location and style of a fine old building not harshly modernized.

Lack of a closet or any place to hang clothing in the small room.

Central location, walking distance from train/bus, friendly staff, nice older hotel with a lot of character and reasonably priced.

Kinda noisy neighborhood but this was true in general of central Uppsala at this time of year.

Very clean, friendly staff. Location is wonderful. Loved the chairs outside and the ability to buy drinks and some food in the bar.

There weren't enough places to hang towels in the bathroom.

Fantastic hotel in the center of town, overlooking the river. We got a free upgrade for one if the rooms and a free early check in as we arrived from a long flight.

I like the building and the athmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast excellent and the room was good also. I would like to go back! Nieves (Dublin)

The hotel was well situated within the city which made walking around very easy. The hotel also provided a very nice complementary breakfast.

Generally, the hotel seemed to be in disrepair and in desperate need of updating. The bathrooms were especially dated and seemed dirty, dark, and grungy. In addition, the hotel was beginning some exterior construction work which was loud and made for a somewhat unpleasant outside experience. Also, the booking pictures did not accurately reflect the room we received (Grand Lit Double); it was much smaller than represented.

I liked the view! My room was a double room with two large windows. The brakfast room was stunning! There was a lot of choises for the ultimate breakfast

Unfortunately the hotel is in an immidiate need of renovation. It feels like they just have put som furnitures avaliable in the room and without any sense of beauty at all! When I had forgot my toothbrush/paste, they told me to come down and get it at the front desk. However, for me that is not service! I had to put on my clothes again and get down to pay 50 skr for the items!

The breafast poor compare to price. Furniture made of steal is not my style. TV was not in function.
