  Location is excellent - 5 minutes walk to the beach, and at the same time very calm and green. We were happy to stay not right on the beach, cause noise of ocean surf is good but not when it`s 24 hours per day. Staff is friendly, usefull and not obsessive. Food is quite tasty and not expensive. Very pleasant and specious hall. Good proposal for aur - We enjoyed it. There is a nice place, away from the noisy road of Hikkaduwa. The way to the nearest beach is about 5 minutes (it's a bay). And the way from Big beach (not the bay) is about 15 min by foot. The hotel is very clean and there is a nice garden near the hotel. Also the room is cleaned every day. Sampath and his family are the openest and the most hospitable people. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and nit expensive in relation to other restaurants on the beach. All 21 day

  Three days at Nippon Villa was a quite pleasant experience. The location and the sea view was ideal. Swimming pool is like an extension of the sea. Very helpful and courteous staff. Secure rooms enabled me to stroll around Hikkaduwa with no worries. The best bar in down south makes every evening a memorable one.   The location was excellent. Calmer part of the beach. We stayed in a Deluxe ocean front room and had a beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff. 15 minute walk from the train station or a 150 lkr tuk- tuk ride. The buffet breakfasts were very impressive, western options as well as some Sri Lankan options. We had our first snorkeling experience and it was truly amazing what we saw, including sea turtles and hundreds of different fish species. Do not miss that! The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked - beds and chairs were comfortable and the view from the balcony was great

  This is an amazing and beautiful villa. Might be not on the shore but I would never agree to change the room there for the one by the ocean because if you go to see this hostels, you'll be shocked by the smell and awful conditions. The owners and the staff are very kiond, cheerful and helpful wherever you ask them for assistance - and even if you ... o que as pessoas dizem » don't ask for help they will volunteer. Booking the room I asked for the good Wifi connection which I need for the job (as it was stated on the websit - Stayed at the Villa in November 2013 for about a week. It is located in the picturesque palm grove. The rooms are clean, spacious. The staff is very nice. Come and you will not regret, optimal quality for the lowest price.
