Besides the fact that the hotel is an interior design gem in the middle of Colombo and the staff were fantastic from start to finish - at the end of our trip my wife fell very ill. The hotel staff rushed us to the hospital, where they didn't speak English, they stayed with me and dealt with everything until around 3am. They were patient, caring, and generally fantastic. I'm very pleased to recommend this hotel with all my heart. Speally the owener of the hotel Mr Kushantha was a really nise person and very friendly. Also I really would like to say Janil and Ravi who work over there was nise, kind and very polite. Hospitallaty was excelant. The hotel was in very good lacation and it was very clean. Excelant service. Of couse I would recommend this hotel with out any douts. and I will be back again.

this was my second time I stayed at the saffron. first time i came for my business and i had a good time in my first stay. that is why i decided to come second time with my wife to stay in the saffron. we had a very good time and my wife was very happy. we got a nice room with antique furniture. and hotel staff arranged city tour. it was really nice. we enjoyed in the beach and could see nice places. food also really nice. we could arranged a trip to kandy with a hotel car. everything was good.
