Santander is in a part of Spain that does not speak English, and being the only one of 3 that speaks high-school spanish, ie, not much, the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that we knew where we were going and what to do.   Silêncio - Staff very helpful. Our dog had an accident and they were very kind - the staff were very helpful and polite making us very welcome. The fact we had a dog who was made just as welcome and allowed in the room was really great. I will use this hotel again.
