  A great little Hotel right on the beach and with a well kept 2 mile long promanade overlooking the beach and across the water to the port area of Bilbao. Good room with a sea view and balcony but a little hiccup one day over cleaning the room with dirty/ wet towels not changed but very soon sorted out with a word at reception.   This didn't feel like any other hotel, it was like you were staying in someone's home - from the decor to the breakfast to the way we were treated. The double room we got was very comfortable and it looked like a little cottage in the city. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in the rain and go "home" to a warm and comfortable room. The heaters worked quickly and the room was large and clean. The breakfast in the morning was good-tea/coffee and an assortment of bread products (and fruit and yogurt, if desired). We wish we had more time to explore Bilbao and stay in this comfortable hotel. We found it to be very quiet-there ar
