  We needed a relaxing beach holiday in a comfortable hotel but didn't want to have to drive or taxi to restaurants etc. in the evening. This hotel exactly matched our requirements! It is an excellent modern hotel with great rooms and service.   A beautiful old house, and the owners are excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble.   This is a fantastic hotel - the location, room, staff and facilities are great. The swimming pool is huge! We also had dinner in the hotel - not something we generally like to do as hotel restaurants are not usually so good. Our room more than met our expectations. It was only a stroll to the promenade, but you could easily sit in the gardens or around the pool if you just wanted to relax.
