  The location, peaceful and rural but just a few minutes by car from stunning beaches, is perfect and has excellent outside space. Inside the hotel everything is spotlessly clean and a lot of thought has gone into making the best use of space. The owners, Monica and Alex (they both speak English), are an absolute delight and nothing is too much tro... o que as pessoas dizem » uble for them. They provide a level of service all too rarely found these days. Breakfasts are varied but always good and sufficient; like the evening - Alex and Monica's hospitality. They were ever so helpful in recommending places to visit and foods to try . We especially loved the way they shared their knowledge and passion of their culture and heritage through their beautiful breakfasts and our conversations.

  One of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in. We first stayed in the Hotel Ancora 7 years ago and we have been made so welcome in this wonderful friendly, family hotel.   Beautiful view from a clean and comfortable room. We were allowed to check in early and it was very welcome after a long walk. I would stay here again. - A good location, close to the bus stop, to finish our Camino. Lots of restaurants close by for dinner.

  I enjoyed the small feel to the place, and the employees were friendly. It is in a great location for walking around the town, and to the marina. The nearby free parking was great. - Great value for money. Nice staff. Very comfortable for the price.

  This was a family owned business with family members as working staff. They were very accommodating, friendly, informative and their service was top notch. They really took pride in their hotel and the service they delivered. The rooms were very comfortable with a pleasant garden area. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very complete. - Good reception on arrival.Very helpful and good knowledge of English. Dinner was good value and tasty. Manager was very helpful and supplied a packed meal for our early morning departure. The hotel was close to Camino for our early departure. Nice gardens for relaxing after days walk on Camino.
