  The best hotel I ever stayed in. Located in the heart of the historical part of the city. Feels like you are positioned in the castle. Very clean, very quite. Spacios apartments. The staff is superhelpful. I would recomend to stay in this hotel. The market with fresh fruits and vegetables (in the morning) is nearby. Actually in Avila everything is in walking distance. - My room was away from the street, and, during my stay was really quiet. I slept well. The hostal offers value for money, it is very central, and the building, an old terraced mansion block, had some character to it. The hotel manager was helpful and friendly, and gave me a great little map & tourist guide of Avila which got me started. The room had a radiator, and overnight the building was quite warm enough.

  I travelled to Avila by train so this was ideal. My room and bathroom both had windows with window boxes. Although I cannot speak Spanish the staff were still very helpful. It is near Lidl and Aldi. There are a lot of inexpensive cafes. - Rooms were really nice, bathroom to yourself with towels provided, clean, good wifi connection.
