The staff is definitely friendly and helpful when you have questions. They are knowledgeable and willing to help you all the time.
The room I stayed in clean and comfy, the shower is great and separated for male and female which gives security of usage.
There's a lift is great and helpful for heavy luggage.

Probably the best staff during our European trip. They're so helpful and friendful for everything. Clean rooms and good price for Barcelona standarts. Free Wifi everywhere. Useful lobby allows people to get in touch. So close to Sants Train Station and underground metro station. And also very close to Camp Nou for Barça fans.

We stayed for just one night and arrived around 11 in the night. Stayed in 14 bed dorm.
There was someone on reception to attend us and show us around and make us feel comfortable.
The beds were decent and clean bedding was provided. No towels though. Lockers were good size. Dorm was big and spacious.

Maybe it sounds too flattering, but that is what I experienced with Angel (Billie). The staff received an award for their friendly and helpful attitude, and they deserved it. And the free dinner. The Polish lady on reception when I checked in was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious for a single. The fan provided made up for the slightly stuffy atmosphere. Great outside communal terrace.

We stayed in one of the double rooms which is in a separate building a few minutes walk fron the main hostel it was great actually closer to La Rambla than the main building. it was a quiet building and had a lift. Free wifi in the rooms was good and there were a lot of activities offered. We did the gaudi walkong tour and it was excelent. The double rooms weren't super cheap so in terms of value for money perhaps you could find somewhere on La Rambla but it was very close maybe 5 min walk
