Perfect. The hostal itself is new and the messages on - Pillow Ramblas is very conveniently located right on La Ramblas. Minutes walk to everything you need. The staff were absolutely delightful - particularly Eva and Gina - always smiling, always helpful. Rooms were newly renovated, very clean, bright, spacious. Breakfast was also very nice with a beautiful spread of pastries, sweets, hams, cheeses and a nespresso machine. Highly recommended, would stay there again without question.

  I love this hotel. It seems that pension is ran by family and everyone are really friendly to help me with everything and they arrange me a very quiet room. Though the building is very very old.the interior of rooms and furniture are quiet new.The room is exacly the same as what you can see from the pictures.Every where in this pension is very cle... o que as pessoas dizem » an, the house keepers are very nice ladies and they do excellent jobs. This pension is very suitable for solo travellers who are looking for low-cost - The place is in a perfect location to go for a walk or to party around downtown of Barcelona. Nice and hospitality stuff, very friendly. Also valuable for the price and calm place if you need to rest or sleep after a great night or a long walk in the city. Highly recommend this hostel and will stay there for sure when I visit the city again.

  The location of the pension couldnt be more perfect. In 10-15 min walk, you'r at the beach and in 2 min, u're at La Rambla Street. The pension is located in a small alley so it is very quiet. The room was simple but clean. The air condition, which is a must in Barcelona in July, worked perfectly. In conclusion, it is a great value/money hotel. We loved our stay - We stayed twice in a room with private bathroom and will be coming back for sure. The hotel is extremely nice: the design is simple, but very nice, in white and blue tones, the bed was extremely comfortable, rooms had a small balcony, the bathroom was clean and neat, the reception was friendly and helpful. It is 2 min walk from Las Ramblas and Columbus. All in all, you get much more than you are paying for. 10 out of 10.

  The location was fantastic, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the hostal was very clean, beds and towels changed everyday. Security box in the room included at no extra cost and the security that you set your own combinatioon. Just a very suprising well run Hostal and value for money.   I stayed only one night but I really like it and like I was staying for a long time...It is a home actually but really nice and really warm..I talked with Agustina who working there at nights and she was really nice and trying to help you(Thank you for everything Agustina)..there is shared kitchen so, you can cook your own food(its best way to sav... o que as pessoas dizem » e money for backpackers) cleaning was good as well :) I will come back there If I come to Barcelona again..Hope to see you soon :) - Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

  The receptionists were very kind and friendly, I felt immediately like at home so my staying was exactly as I would that it be, relax in a quite place; Hostal Drassanes is in a good spot, not on a big traffic road, near to shopping for whatever you need, it's a very clean place with elevator, air conditioner, tv, wi-fi, bathroom in room. All I needed was a bed and an en suite with shower as I was attending a conference and eating out at night. I got exactly what I paid for. I could have stayed at the renaissance which was 9 times the price but why bother as I never use the facilities
