  Irenaz resort was located on the edge of a beautiful green valley that was so relaxing. There was often music traveling up from somewhere on the mountain and it made us really feel like we were in Europe. The location is a bit out of San seb city but the bus stop is 100metres down the road and for 1.60 euro takes you 11-15 minutes to get into town... o que as pessoas dizem » . The staff were really lovely and helpful with everything from beaches, San Fermin and resturants. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the bathroo - The apartments were very modern and private, overlooking the valley on the outskirts of San Sebastián. We specifically chose the location because we had a car we didn't want to use in the city and parking was free. The apartments were close to a bus stop with regular buses taking about 15 minutes to reach the centre of the city. The reception staff were very helpful in assisting us with a damage report we needed to fax to the leasing company.

Even though he only spoke Basque, the family patriarch went to great lengths to ensure we understood that the best way into San Sebastian was by bus, not our car.   All the staff on reception and in the cafe and restaurant were very welcoming, helpful and efficient. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.The cafe which is open 24hrs serves an excellent value, menu of the day as well as many other choices. We also ate in the restaurant two nights and the standard of service and the food in both of thes... o que as pessoas dizem » e places was superb.It is very easy to walk into the town of Urnieta which has shops, bars and cafes. The local bus which stops very near to the hotel - Modern comfortable rooms including wi-fi. Lovely crisp sheets and white, white towels. Modern bathroom. Quiet at night. Somehow, instead of the dinner we booked we ended up at a dinner + local girls belly dancing (???). All great fun as these Spanish evenings usually are but dinner wasn't served until 10.30 and it was a tad bit late after 6 hours on the road. Great staff, nothing too much trouble

  Pension is really great. It is constructed inside the building that is surrounded by factories, but inside it's looking amazing. The owner is great person. He was building pension for five years by himself and he did a great job! He waited for us until 3 a.m. in the morning and allowed us to check out at 3 p.m. because of it. He also gave us gifts... o que as pessoas dizem » :) It's 4-5 km from San Sebastian center, but if you have a car, it's really no problem... I will come back here next time! - Never judge a book by it's cover! This hotel is built within an old factory so the outside looks horrible but after taking the industrial lift upstairs you enter into another world. Clean, stylish, contemporary design with all the facilities. We used it as a stop over but you could use it as a base to explore the nearby mountains and coast of San Sabastian. The owner is really helpful and friendly and gave us maps and advice.
