the hotel is in an exellent location all the rooms are facing the sea the views are very special from their elevated position the restaurant the food and the service was very good they really made you feel welcome

This hotel is perfect! A place to get spoiled in every way every day.
The rooms are decored beautifully and the material used is luxury
quality. The staff is so polite and serviceminded. The hotel placed by
the sea with fantastic seaview. An elevatorride away from the beach and
seashore where you can walk for miles. And a long this walk you pass
many restaurants and bars. I really recommend Mamma Gina. They have
fantastic italian food. And the habor in Benalmadena is definitely worth
a visit. T

i liked the appearance of the hotel i.e. it is a pretty hotel with a lot of c haracter, which is welcome change to the norm. The views are lovely from the terrace, and the pool area is never overcrowded (plenty of sunbeds for everyone). This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and would have no hesitation in staying again. Well-deserved

I would like to submit a review on behalf of my parents who recently
stayed at the hotel ( 20/09 - 02/10). My parents raved about the
staff- particularly the waiter in the restaurant. My Father is a very
fussy eater ( and particularly hard to please were food is concerned)
and he absolutely lovely the food!!! The accommodation was very

Room 507 had fantastic views, hotel was lovely and clean and great location for beach and Marina. Breakfast was fantastic, great choice of cooked and continental with fresh fruit. In height of summer I could imagine there will be quite a bit of noise from surrounding bars, but you would expect that from a busy resort.

The apartment was great, had everything you needed, kettle, coffee maker, microwave & hob, iron & ironing board. When booking I asked for a sea view if possible and was very pleased to get one. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the resort well maintained. Our apartment was clean with a balcony looking out over the gardens and sea. Although cooking facilities were limited, there was sufficient to cook properly. The main pool was huge and my young son loved the water slides linking it to the smaller pool. The sun loungers were reasonable priced and the gardens where you could put them well-maintained, spacious and right by the pools. Only 200m from the beach and restauran

Excellent location, had a great room overlooking the pools, not the first time we've stayed here and never disappointed. Fantastic staff, nothings too much trouble. Fantastic location, perfect for the park and the beach and a lovely walk up to the Marina. Pool area was amazing, especially with the bar in the pool. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including a few English channels on the TV which was great. Supermarket downstairs in the complex was also extremely handy.

more urban, beach community of Benalmádena. It's easily accessed
from the highway, but driving up from the coast is little more

Hotel La Fonda is situated just off Plaza Espana in Benalmadena Pueblo. There are several excellent restaurants near by and no shortage of good places to eat. Transport from Malaga Airport is easy by taking the Fuengirola train to Benalmadena and then the 121 Mijas bus to the Pueblo. The hotel is about 400 metres from the bus stop. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We were made welcome. On
arrival which was almost midnight we were pleasantly surprised to find a
large bottle of water and some milk in our fridge, plus some sachets of
tea, coffee and sugar. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Plenty of
clean towels and linen. The Casbah cafe served good food at a fair
price. Excellent entertainment in the evenings. If I was to go to this
area of Spain again I would definately stay here.
