  The standard was excellent. We booked a Studio but were upgraded to a Suite on arrival. The staff were extremely courteous and professional. The rooms were decorated to a high standard, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linen beautifully white and clean. Very comfortable suite, a pity to leave to go out! Overall, fantastic stay, extremely clean, would definitely go back! - We liked the quality of hotel, everything is new and mordern, spacious rooms, close to the very nice (it seems to me that only local people knew and visited it) beach, children friendly environment, nice pool, possibility to park your car at any time (only 5 euro per day), calm and peaceful surroundings.

  The hotel was just what we wanted, although we are only in our early 30's we just wanted to be away from the hetic nightlife and relax in a 'real' spanish resort and that is exactly what we got, it was short stroll to the square where you will find 4 lovely restaurants, in the gorgeous picturesque side streets you will find a few more scattered ar... o que as pessoas dizem » ound. This is our 3rd trip to the village. Third different hotel and our favourite. The breakfasts are unbelievable even the beautiful dining room. Quite rare in Spain not to get plastic garden chairs to sit on for dining! The dining room is pristine and beautiful along with Rosa's home made pancakes which are crepes with your choice of fillings.   Where to start? The breakfast was simply brilliant value for money, fresh produce presented perfectly with lovely omelettes made to order - yummy! The rooms are basic but immaculately clean, as is the rest of the hotel, and all of the staff are friendly and willing to help as much as possible. Good bus connections to - We stayed for two nights in July 2013 and found the hotel perfect for our needs. The room was clean and had a mini fridge and kettle which we did not expect and parking was very easy and close by. There was an extensive choice for breakfast including some hot dishes freshly cooked to order. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially on reception who went out of their way to provide information and maps of the area. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend this hotel

  Great location! The hotel is in the village, situated high above the more urban, beach community of Benalmádena. It's easily accessed from the highway, but driving up from the coast is little more challenging. The hotel staff, particularly Navita at reception, was amazing! They were so friendly and helpful! There is on- site, free, gated parking, but it's easier to check in first and get directions/instructions. WiFi even - Hotel La Fonda is situated just off Plaza Espana in Benalmadena Pueblo. There are several excellent restaurants near by and no shortage of good places to eat. Transport from Malaga Airport is easy by taking the Fuengirola train to Benalmadena and then the 121 Mijas bus to the Pueblo. The hotel is about 400 metres from the bus stop.
