  We loved everything: the facilities, the staff, the location. The staff were really friendly. They were willing to accommodate you. We booked primarily for just 6 nights, and ended up staying there for our whole vacation in Valencia (14 nights). The room was very spacious and it was cleaned every day.   Very friendly staff with good local knowledge. Rooms were clean and tidy. Location was perfect - central to the cathedral and only 10 - 15 minutues from the train station. Excellent for the price - Loved it! The staff/owners were soooo lovely! Really great location right next to the Market. Wonderful price.

  Lovely place, great interior, nice bed and spacious room and bathroom. We booked only a few days before arrival and where pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff was super friendly and we payed only E 50 a night for a really good room. The hotel is situated perfectly, nearby the Mercado and some good restaurants. Our room was about 46 euro per night, for a small room with double bed, hot shower, small balcony; no breakfast though. Warm atmosphere, good information available at reception. - The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget. Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

  The very chic and elegant room design made me feel like I was staying at a five-star hotel. The great staff service added to this impression. The location and price could not have been better- just a quick walk to awesome sites and restaurants, not to mention the train station. Owners are friendly and preparé fabulous toast wirh jam and butter - ask to replace the Butter with Oliveoil, it's a spanish specialty how to have breakfast. Recomendable!
