This is a excellent property in every way. We stayed in a room with a private entrance and small terrace overlooking the garden. It was a treat to wake each morning to the sounds of birds in the trees and sun filtering through the window. The room was well appointed, extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. As a couple with young kids, it was an absolute dream staying at Manaar House as it was so kid friendly that our kids did not want to go out because of the toys provided in our section of the house! They had so much fun & were so comfortable and as parents, that mattered most to us. The views from the kids rooms were phenomenal & they absolutely loved it!

My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.
