Enjoying a beachfront location in Port Alfred, this bed and breakfast provides an outdoor pool. Guests can simply walk across a narrow road and over a sand dune to enjoy long walks on the beach and a swim in the ocean. It is situated halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London. Friendliness of host - Isabeau - who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome; location close to beach; swimming pool and relaxing area; comfortable beds, beautiful quality bed linen; good breakfasts and daily homemade treats - muffins, flapjacks etc. The rooms are very stylish decorated in a beautiful colour scheme that seems to be an extension of the dunes and the ocean. Quiet location, lovely breakfast and a most genial host.

Travelling information

From East London 1. Come into Port Alfred and continue over the (arched) Nico Malan Bridge. 2. At the traffic lights Turn Left 3. Continue straight up the steep hill, Wesley Hill Rd, to the Stop Street 4. Go Straight until you reach a T-Junction (with the sea ahead of you) 5. Turn Right into West Beach Drive and continue all the way along the front row of houses 6. You will reach Kellys Beach - continue a further 300m and you will see The Beach House - a well sign-posted large cream home with white decks. The entrance is in Curlew Crescent. 7. Ring the gate and we will open for you.
