  The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms had great toiletries. The breakfasts had plenty of choice and were well cooked. We saw whales from the balcony within 5 minutes of arriving, and the cliff path was close by and a great walk. Lavender manor is very close to Hermanus golf club which is a very well kept golf club. Many thanks - This is a very nice, tastefully-furnished, quiet Guest House on the far west side of Hermanus, 2 blocks from Grotto Beach. I can't imagine why anyone would stay in town, as there is no beach there, only rocks, and a lot of people. When I arrived, I walked to the beach in the late afternoon and was immediately hooked.

  The apartments are very spacious indeed, my girlfriend and I had three bedrooms and three bathrooms between us!. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard indeed and were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always willing to assist answering any questions. The hotel is actually apartments in a shopping mall which makes it safe (on top of a permanent person at the reception). Staff is helpful and friendly helping you out with any query (restaurant reco and booking, day trips,etc). 5min walking from coast and restaurants.
