  The location was fantastic for visiting Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. Our rooms were lovely. We really liked the garden setting, it was quiet and peaceful. The food and wine at the restaurant were excellent. All of the staff were friendly, happy and helpful. The free wi-fi was a nice touch as well. We loved our stay and would go back in a hear - Rissington is situated in a tranquil countryside of Hazyview. Our rooms were upgraded to their superior rooms which very generous of the staff. Surprisely, the food at Rissington restaurant was very tasty especially the crocodile curry. In addition, we had to leave early for our onward journey and the staff kindly packaged our breakfast for the journey.

  The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and the gardens absolutely lush. The fact that the driveways have not been paved keeps everything natural! Just a good old fashioned hotel devoid the indifference one finds in chain hotels and pretentious B&Bs.   The staff was very friendly and really did their best to make us feel welcome. This lodge is really good value for money and if you take the option with breakfast and dinner it is lovely not having to cook. We stayed in the luxury tent, it had its own bathroom, just make sure, some of the tents have a bathroom outside the tent.
