Each cottage is decorated in soft tones and has a satellite TV, fan and a complimentary bottle of wine from La Galiniere’s own vines. It also has tea-and-coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer and the bathroom includes free toiletries.
A grocery shopping service is available on request, and there are barbecue facilities for outdoor lunches and dinners. Restaurants, cafés and shops in the centre of Franschhoek are a 10 to 15-minute walk away.
Babysitting services can be arranged on request. The staff at La Galiniere Guest Cottages can arrange bike and car rentals as well as shuttle services to Cape Town International Airport which is 64 km away. Stellenbosch is a 30-minute drive away.

The atmosphere of the cottage and the grounds. You really only have to
bring your clothes & eats. Everything else is already there! Enjoyed
the German Shephards. Was perfect for celebrating our 18th wedding
anniversary!.

Great big room and comfortable with all in facilities. Walking distance to Franschhoek. Little boutique farm was very relaxing.
Nice location, clean cottage, nice decor, and very nice bathroom. I also enjoyed the complimentary wine.

The white carpet in the main bedroom needs some attention.
Only one sheet on the bed and no electric blanket or additional blanket.
Cottage felt a little tired and was quite dark. The patio, including the BBQ, was dirty on arrival. The pool was not clean and did not invite guests to use it.

Travelling information
La Galiniere Guest Cottages are located on the main R45 road into Franschhoek from Paarl or Stellenbosch. After entering the town and passing La Grande Provence Estate, Franschhoek Country House, and Allora Italian Restaurant, we are the next property on the right, opposite La Petit Provence Estate. The entrance is slightly concealed behind a tall hedge. If you get to La Provence Road, then you have gone too far.
