Guests can relax with a massage at the hotel, or with a game of golf at the Durban Country Club, 10 km from Tudor House. Asba Rugby Stadium and Kingsmead Cricket Grounds are within a 15-minute drive. An airport shuttle is provided upon request to King Shaka International Airport, 18 km away. Free private parking is available on site.

The comfy setting and the area for the kids to play and swim and braai facilities were great! The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived and our cottage was not ready however they still made a plan for us as we needed to change to get to a function! Very clean and central, close to beach and shops!. It has a quite and relaxed atmosphere and the most important thing i like about it was that there was minimal noise during the day and dead quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay there and my kids are already planning to come back.

The design and atmosphere was excellent with brilliant views. Loved the experience. Everything was perfect, accomodation,location,staff members. a very good place to stay will really love to visit again. budgeted. cheap for 2 families with 2 children to stay over in Durban. I like the rooms are open and nice place to hangout as family. Ideally situated and met our budget requirements. Privacy and no interuptions from the staff. Good location. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff were friendly and there is a pool. The low price and cleanliness. The linen was clean!. It was a cottage for 4 people but there were not enough mugs and knives and forks. They could maybe but some lighting around the pool for the evenings. Nothing really to complain about. We felt welcomed from the minute we stepped in until we departed. Lack of aircon. The gate did not work but this was overcome by alternative parking. Near beaches. as good as for backpackers' room. so, don't expected too much. however, it is enough to sleep over. Room had a funny odour. Had to request for utensils. the room was a distance from the parking and was quite dark if you arrived after dark - need more exterior lighting. No big bin to throw away the rubbish, no brooms or claening stuff, by the 2nd day of stay the house was a mess and we couldnt do much about it. It is not well kept. Lacks finesse. It gives the impression of "poor"!. There was no hot water. Our first room did not have towels. Some rooms should only be for one person. There was no hot water in the shower. The bathrooms should have air refreshener. The pillows were either rock hard or way too soft. There should be manegiarial staff on weekends or s upervisor at least. The accomodation is in serious need of repair and updating. The place is grotty and run down. it looks nothing like the web pictures. Yes it is affordable but at best it should only have one star!. everything - not as advertised in the photos, poor cleanliness, cockroaches in shower - therefore did not use!, no additional linen provided for sleeper couch which was requested, and requested again on arrival. just a very low quality place, unkempt in all aspects. Never again!.

Travelling by car from King Shaka Airport/Richards Bay/North of Durban area: - Travel along the N2 South Head South until you reach the off ramp Kwamashu/Inanda; - Turn LEFT at the freeway into North Coast Road; - After Brick City on your left, at the set of traffic lights slip off Left into Rinaldo Road; - At the third street on your right, turn right into Longwoods Drive; - Continue up LONGWOODS DRIVE which is a long steep hill, ending in a T-intersection. - Tudor House Inn is at the top of the hill on your right at the traffic lights, on the corner of Longwoods Drive and 195 Umhlanga Rocks Drive. - At the traffic lights/ T-intersection at the top of the hill, indicate to turn right; - Turn immediately very sharp right into the driveway reception area of Tudor House Inn; - If the steel gate is closed, use the intercom on the left of the gate and we will open the gate for you; - Please contact us if you have any problems.
