  This is a really relaxing place to stay, and I think it provides a good feel for tradiitional Slovenian hospitality vs a larger hotel in Bled itself. Better value too. It's homely, and breakfast is simple but delicious. The location is great - close to Bled, and just behind the village of Ribno is a beautiful river with cycling/hiking trails. It is quiet, family place, with delicious pears from the garden (at this season).

  I loved the staff .Very, very welcoming and showed concern for our well being and comfort during the stay. I certainly would recommend to other people since the value for money was excellent and it was only ten minutes from the airport .I also had the possibility to buy food on the supermarket and cook my meals. And the manager showed good taste on the little details of the garden, yard , li - The location is excellent, close to the highway, you can reach many interesting areas easily (Bled, Triglav Park, Ljubljana). The family that owns the building manage the hostel themselves and are very friendly. They showed us what we can see in almost all of Slovenia, as the country is small. The kitchen was well equipped and we made our own breakfast outside. There are places to eat close by and a mini-market right in the next house. The owners wait for you even late into the night.

  A cosy hostel situated in the centre of Kranj - the view on the Kokra canyon from the terrace is lovely. Definitely choose this hostel if you have much more free time to travel around Slovenia, you can easily reach Ljubljana, Bled, Vintgar, even the Postojna cave and castle from here. All tasks you want to do could be done easy because all the facilities are located close to the hostel Cukrarna (bank, bars, restaurants, bakery, library...). I also like the great view on the Kokra canyon and hostel is a great starting point for some trips around Kranj.

  We liked everything! The hostel is very cosy, it looks more like your own countryside home than a hostel. There are plenty of things to do all the time, and you meet staff's support everywhere you need it. The lake is just at your door, and there is a tiny beach just five meters away. We would definitely stay there next time we visit this part of the country. - One of the best hostels I ever stayed. Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms and beds. Good breakfast. Location is absolutely fantastic next to the lake. We love seats outside!

  The staff were so helpful and friendly, they had lots of suggesting and advice on what to do in the area and where to go. There was a large lounge with British t.v and wifi. The view was great right next to the lake. - Good location, decent common room and outide area. Staff very helpful.

  This hostel has a great vibe. Super relaxed and helpful staff, really embraces the social aspect of backpacking, making it easy to meet people. The bed was comfy, good wifi, location really close to the bus station and the lake- making everything easy. Also we were offered a free tour courtesy of the hostel which was beyond amazing.
