I was pleasantly surprised with the package we got in Slovakia, because Im ususally used to overcoming many obstacles when using services in Slovakia, this penzion however showed that Slovakia is moving in the right directon.
Could not have picked a better location. You pass two other hotels up the hill on way to castle but they cost more. Great breakfast. Simple. Grand hotel around corner has great drinks and dinner menu.todos opiniões »
Excellent comfort; spacious room with sofa, fridge, desk, and view of castle; family run business; warm, friendly, and helpful staff, especially Tomas with his excellent English!.
Very spacious room, with view of castle. Gracious hostess provided nice breakfast and conversation. Easy walk to great restaurant. Good value.

Nothing to do with hotel, but if you go to the castle give yourself time as the minor tours and major tours start at different times and the communication barrier led us to donating 7€ to the castle as the minor tour was an hour away and we had to leve lovely trencin by 10am.
