I got upgraded and dont even know why as i dont have a Kempinski loyalty card - but i do now! Will definitely stay again.   The location is virtually the best in Saint Petersburg. Very easy to find, very close to the metro, the main street full of restaurants and 3 minutes walking from the Hermitage Museum. Very clean, very simple, shared bathrooms (but clean) and a normal breakfast.
