  It’s a decent budget hotel in a good location. It’s one block from a 24- hour Walgreen’s, Starbucks, Charlie car rental office, and the Marriot (the latter where we saw a live salsa band and dancing late Saturday night). There are lots of restaurants of all kinds in walking distance. It’s a good neighborhood with other hotels and condos. The fact ... o que as pessoas dizem » that the hotel is one building away from the beach and not directly on the beach is irrelevant for beach access, because it’s on a dead-end street tha - Our rooms were great, the beach is just outside the door and is AWESOME with nice waves for body surfing, the staff were top notch, the location is great for walking to shopping, restaurants, airport, ship docks and 10 min from Old San Juan. It is a very safe area to stay - we really liked it a lot. We loved the outdoor covered patio for eating breakfast and playing cards in the evening.
