If you are not sure what the designers hotels means go and visit this one. Every single detail is apparently thought of, nothing is accidental. Also the location in the city center and within the truly amazing shopping mall are big assets of this place.
Restaurant and bar are also "within" the general concept, serving fresh and eco-friendly food.

Excellent service. I was there during Easter when little was open and they brought food for me, gave excellent advice and were really welcoming. the hotel is modern and interesting, though would not suit all tastes.

Perfect location - near the city centre and Stary Browar. Very nice place, has everything you might need, including washing machine and hair dryer ;) the apartment was very comfortable and service was perfect. I highly recommend this apartment - it is highly possible there are no other place in such high standard for such low price.

I really loved this place. We stayed only one night, but we have nothing to complain about. First of all the staff is really friendly and helpful. Very central location, 10 min walk to old town, 10-15 min walk to main railway station, very close to stary browar (a huge and amazing shopping center). Staff spoke good english and was friendly. Tea and coffee making facilities in the common kitchen, free internet access (3 computers) and TV. Also loads of board games in the common room. I stayed in a dormitory room with 4 bank beds. It deffinatelly benefits from its location, though I imagine front rooms may get noisy at night.
My room was huge. there were a few desks and each bed had a little lamp. It felt relatively private. Breakfast was quite good however I have stayed in many hostels in Poznan and I know it could be better.
