  The owners Eivind and his wife could not have been more helpful and they spoke perfect English. We chose the cabin/room and although quite small, was lovely and warm and clean, good shower and little kitchette with fridge. First evening meal was served in their Gapahuken restaurant which has a fantastic lakeside (frozen when we were there) setting... o que as pessoas dizem » , beautiful inside and the reindeer steak dinner (persoanlly cooked in front of us by Eivind) was superb - one of the best meals I have ever eaten. On - The uniqueness of a country-side establishment that offers space, freedom, with great staff, good stories about the area,a sauna and spa, and the flowers as it was summertime. The Husky team ride, the dogs. /and of course the restaurant with excellent food. The cloud berries picked early each morning . It was a genuine and natural 3 days . I've marked the facilities as good because there isn't a very good, but if it is good enough for the Queen of Norway to enjoy time here, it is good enough

  the unbelievably friendly staff made us (my mom and me) feel at home at once. the most friendly service i've ever got in a hotel. and the food we got served for dinner.... delicious.... the breakfast .... fabulous.... this Hotel gets a 10 from us and we are coming back :).

  We stayed here for a night during te low-season, but still enjoyed our stay ver much. Our host Kari was very friendly and supportive and provided us with all detailed information! Thank you! - The big cottage with own bathroom was very nice, clean and well equipped. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

  I had a fantastic stay here. The cabin was excellent, although much larger than I needed on my own. It had all the facilities you need for a long stay -- I was very surprised to find that I had my own personal sauna! The location is great. While the cabins are within walking distance of the Sami Parliament and Sapmi (as well as supermarkets in tow... o que as pessoas dizem » n), it's set just out of town. This means less city lights to block out the northern lights and a great view across the town from the hot tub (which i - Value for money. Friendly staff. Good location. Clean and comfortable cabin with sauna. Quiet. We visited out of season so understandably some of the sites facilities were not open but I think when fully open the facilities would be really nice (lavvu, grill, saunas, hot tub etc). Short distance to Karasjok sentrum and the Saami Park. Plenty of space in the cabin (one bedroom cabin).

  Everything - the rooms are very cosy, comfortable and warm - perfect for a mid-winter stay. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The location was great - 2 minutes to the supermarket, pleasant 25 minute walk to Alta museum in one direction and the centre of town in the other. I will definitely stay here again, hopefu - The hotel is nice, and some rooms have a very good view to the fjord. Traditional style, with good ammenities. The food in the restaurant is very good, and not only for norwegian standards :) It is important as there are no other restaurants nearby. Very good breakfast included. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

  we had a very nice small Chalet (small hut) for 2 with a small kitchen an bathroom. We were very surprised because it was all so nice. The Food in the Restaurant was very good, breakfast was also great (extra-pay!)   The hotel was well furnished and the rooms looked modern, the bathrooms too but the halls and dining room etc had very nice decoration that really went with the Norwegian feel of the place. Breakfast was laid out as a buffet and was nice enough. Staff were really friendly and approachable. It has a stunning view of a fjord with an observatory for those without a room overlooking the fj - We are thrilled to have found the Guesthouse only 4 minutes away from the hustle of Alta center! t was like coming into a private home, room was excellent w\large bathroom heated floor, beds were so comfortable, and the evening meal was excellent as were the entire staff, we are already booking for a return visit to use the Spa facilities!
