We were very impressed with all the staff namely Kent, Diane & Lin. They were very accommodating and made our stay really safe and enjoyable. They also took into consideration that we were with kids and very kindly extended our stay at no extra cost so that we didn't have to stress trying to rush etc. we will definitely stay again as its a really great spot n a good meeting point to catch with mates n friends from Auckland. A very pleasant experience .... Thank you Kent and the team .. Chee.
todos opiniões » Staff were friendly and enthusiastic to help. Facilities were adequate and comfortable. Location was fantastic, close to the river and nature walk etc. All in all very happy with the motel and would return gladly. We like the fact that they have a wonderful bar/restaurant so we don't have to get in a car again and drive, makes for a relaxing meal and evening. Especially if latge fire is going. We find this an excellent motel as it has a good restaurant and its a wonderful place to be able to relax by the large fire. being a fisherman i liked the close location to the river etc the whole motel has that fishing feeling about it. Very helpful staff provided early breakfast before our mountain walk. Good restaurant after long days travel. Fantastic family unit with reasonable cost. About 35 minutes drive to Mt Ruapehu Ski field. really suited our family with the interconnecting rooms and bath, good food, lovely staff. Great price good size family room very clean close to Taupo where we were doing business. Rooms was clean and comfortable. Best value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. It was close to where I was going, on the main road and near the town centre. Warm well appointed units. Handy to National park Friendly staff. Loved the Lamb Shanks delivered to my room and the friendly staff. Was pleased with the entire place. Enjoyed every moment there. Very friendly and helpfull stuff. We felt very welcome. It was a big group renting multiple units but they were so inconsiderate!. That we have to leave :). heaters were A bit noisy but wasnt really A problem. Restaurant was bit pricy. Noisy neighbors. Bathroom cramped and looked very dated. Spa room locked and had $5 charge - why not include this in the tariff and provide a key for the spa so that late arrivals can use the facilities. Parking on an angle as someone backed into me. There was nothing that we didn't like. Some staff was very old. The heater worked only in two positions - on and off. No wifi in the room. Nothing. No provisions for heating or cooking food. No dishes/utensils. Rooms very dated.
