We have travelled all over the world (literally!) so we have stayed at 4/5 star hotels in multiple different countries. We had a fantastic stay at Dunluce and were so glad we stayed here! The room was very clean (I am picky!), was well decorated, and had an amazing view. We also enjoyed the breakfast and snacks/drinks provided. There was a separate entrance for guests vs. having to enter the owners' house, which we always enjoy. I would highly recommend Dunluce to friends and family!

Loved staying here. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. On arrival we were advised of the best places to eat and how to best enjoy our stay based on what we had planned. We had a 3 bedroom cottage which was very nice and comfortable. We had a log fire in the lounge room, a big kitchen/dining room, laundry with waching machine and dryer and 3 good sized bedrooms. Ray and Leonie run a beautiful set of cottages on a property attached to their house in Te Anau. The cottage we rented was clean, and fully furnished with a stovetop, microwave, and dishes for four. Ray also runs bus tours to local attractions, including Milford Sound. We had our own car, and didn't take him up on his offer for a tour, but we never felt pressured to do so. In two weeks visiting New Zealand, this was our favorite place to stay!

We received a very warm welcome from the receptionist, who showed us to our room and gave us two freshly baked muffins, lovely. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The next morning I asked where I could book a particular trip to Milford Sound - the receptionist sorted it all out for me and booked the cruise.
The laundry facilities were also very handy and, again, spotless.

We had a 2 bedroom unit for our family with 2 young children.The unit was clean and tidy. Our hosts were kind enough to lend a big Fisher Price toy which kept our young ones occupied. We were planning to go to Milford Sound the next day and our hosts kept us up-to-date with regards to the road conditions to Milford Sound. There was also laundry and dryer facilities available for us. Wi-Fi Internet was also provided for free which was rare during our trip to New Zealand.
