The tour desk can assist with local activities including visits to the Te Anau Glow Worm Caves, scenic helicopter flights, jet boating, and tours around the Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound region.

Great to get away from impersonal motel rooms to stay at this warm comfortable and friendly B and B. Ray the host was terrific, very helpful, and added to the relaxed feeling of the place. Breakfast was fantastic, the bed comfortable. Location was great only a block to the shore of Lake Te Anau, but unlike most of the accomodation available it was located in a quiet residential street helping ensure a good nights sleep. Would highly recommend to others as a great place to stay.

This was matched by the friendliness of our host, Ray, quality of hot breakfast, wi-fi, comfort of our room. A 5 minute walk to the waterfront and 15 minute walk to shopping and good restaurants completed a great stay in Te Anau. Mike & Carolyn Ontario. Delightful setting with all rooms named after a Shakespearean play. Rooms were large, tastefully decorated and warm, with a small ensuite and tea & coffee making facilities. The breakfast was wonderful!! Ray is the perfect host, very friendly and helpful, and a great cook attending even to the smallest details. Highly recommend this B&B. Te Anau is "the gateway town" to Milford sound. We stayed two nights, on the way and then back from an overnight cruise to Milford Sound. Owner's relative, the mgr, excellent, personally does cooked breakfast, choice of eggs, very friendly and helpful. Interesting "Shakespeare" picture concept, started by previous owner. We really enjoyed our stay. Accommodation clean and comfortable. Breakfast terrific even when we needed it an hour early to go on an excursion. It is in a quiet back street a few minutes walk from the town which suited us after eating in one of the excellent reasonably price restaurants in the town. The host is very helpful and goes out of his way to assist (organised parking for us while walking the Milford Track and gave us great tips for preparing for the walk). He makes a hearty cooked breakfast for the guests too!. I was greeted by the very friendly owner and made to feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable with a generous seating area adjacent. The Shakespeare theme was quirky and fun, and the bonus was the well-stocked library for guests. Delicious breakfast, large and bright room, and Ray is such a wonderful host, and a busy daddy. He is very humorous and just talking with him makes you feel cheerful. Owners very friendly and helpful.
