We are a big time travelers and very picky when it comes to our
accomodations! We had the best experience in this Riad and no doubt we
would go back again. First of all, Riad provides an excellent base to
explore Marrakech. Location is fantastic, 2 minutes walk from the main

This riad is a little gem. It has only been open for 2.5 years and everything inside is brand new and of amazing taste. Laurence is a wonderful hostess. Beautiful riad in the heart of the city. Well positioned to access all
the main sites. We stayed in Moulay which was perfectly designed in a
moroccon style with a big bathroom.
The breakfast was amazing and served up on the roof top terrace.
I would strongly recommend ordering dinner at the hotel - you have to order in the morning and it isn't cheap but it is delicious. very romantic too as more often than not you'll be the only couple in the dining area.

Ryad Watier was an amazing B&B. Large, spacious and nicely-decorated
rooms! Jean Gabriel, the owner, was so outgoing, friendly and
accommodating. He was very helpful when my boyfriend had a fever.
Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful and dinners are top-
quality. Essaouira was our favorite city, although a bit more touristy
than other Moroccan cities, the beach has great watersports and lots of
activities and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our time at Ryad

As everyone has mentioned before - Marie and Philippe and their staff
make you very welcome. I think everyone is so relieved to find such a
beautiful quiet place, after going down the bustling main street, packed
with people, scooters, carts and horses and determined shopkeepers
selling interesting but mostly shoddy wear... Through the twisting
alleys - and knocking on the door to be greeted by a smiling, welcoming
face; you do feel that you have arrived home and are calm and relaxed.

We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and
the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors,
and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a
fantastic time. They made every effort to ensure that the place was
comfortable and beautiful while respecting the Moroccan style and

From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

We had a lovely stay at La Maison Arabe. While it could never be
called cheap, it was well worth the money we spent. The staff are
absolutely lovely, the hotel is beautiful. Our room was stunning,
perfectly clean, quite large. We were given a complementary half
bottle of wine on arrival.
We spent the afternoon at the country club which was perfect - it's 10/15 minutes in a shuttle bus. The staff there are amazing, I was told "here, everything is easy", which it was! We ate lunch here, which was
