The Riad was very clean throughout and the location was excellent - around a nice 5 minutes walk to the Jemaa el Fna and also very close to a number of other tourist sites.
The staff were excellent...very friendly and helpful in any requests that we had. During our stay, it was my wife's birthday and as a surprise, the staff at the Riad surprised my wife with a cake & flowers on the rooftop along with decorating our room really nicely with rose petals scattered on our bed saying "Happy Birt

I told the hotel the stay was a 60º birthday gift for my husband, and they invited us for a special cake, and they gave us a superior suite than the one I reserved.
The best location to visit the city. We have the better experience for all our travels. If you want to visit Marrakesh, stay in Les Jardins de La Koutoubia.

Highly recommended, good value for money. The staff is incredibly kind and the hotel is brand new. Mehdi, the chief concierge will make sure you will have the best stay, planning everything you want to do and suggesting good experiences.
Either way, if you go to Marrakech make sure to find a hotel in hivernage/medina area.

I found this Ryad amazing. After reading the reviews I was lucky that I got my room in the main building 2nd floor. So the pool was on a level up above.
Room:The room was very very well decorated in proper Moroccan style with wooden furniture. The bed was very comfortable with clean linens. It had an amazing interior with wall paintings and sword decorations and stuff. A beautiful window with colored glasses. Very pleasant hotel, with impressive atrium seating area, decent pool and clay tennis courts. Essentially it's a sort of French version of a Thompsons hotel. Good breakfast, large room and ideally placed for exploring Marrakech (see guide below). Would certainly recommend Les Idrissides.

The family rooms are fantastic. You could lose yourself in the suite. The rooms were really spaceous, great faccilities, hotel really gets everyone involved with alot of events taking place, pools were great, easy to exchange money. The maids cleaning the room used the towels to create patterns etc on the beds which the kids really loved. They also always left sweets and rose petals on the beds every nice was was great. Its a traditionell arabic hotel with the traditionell arabic friendlyness and service. There is no alcohol and no smoking in the hotel and its all about serving the guest and making him feel like at home. We loved this hotel and especcially his employees.
