  Even if I’m a “Booking GE”, I never comment any hotel, but The Grey Hotel in Luxembourg is an exception. The central location in front of the railways station is perfect for public transportation (indeed, taxis are incredibly expensive in Luxembourg), the management and the “crew” are so kind and available for you, the design of the rooms (fast an... o que as pessoas dizem » d free Wifi everywhere), the apple tv and all the useful utilities for a geek! (smartphones are welcome) pushed me to signal it to other travellers. - The shower had a transparent window to the sleeping room. It might have been sexy to have a woman in the room, maybe from a nearby night club, but I had none in my case, I am afraid. The invoice I have been given initially had two different daily rates for the two different nights of stay and for this reason was not good of the preferred format for maximising the reimbursement from my company, so the staff was helpful to re-do the invoice with the same rate for both days.

  Loved the helpful staff. The guy who checked me in was so helpful, providing a map and showing me some of the main sites on it and the easy route to walk to the city center on. It is a straight shoot from the hotel which is within site of the rail station where you can catch a constantly running bus to the airport. The hotel has a large, good brea... o que as pessoas dizem » kfast (cheese, meat, bread, fruit etc) and a nice woman kept it all tidy and stocked. The room was typically small, cozy and very quiet. I had asked f - Stayed one night on my excursions from Brussels. Gives you more time to explore around although the city is pretty small. Hotel is very near to the train station. About 10-15 minutes walk to the old town. Very basic furnishings. Queen size mattress, not one of those joining two single beds. Clean otherwise. Staff was quite friendly too. There are two Chinese supermarket opposite the hotel.

  Hotel Carlton is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Although in a not particularly salubrious part of Luxembourg the hotel is well situated for the station and is only a short walk to the old city. There is a fabulous Italian restaurant right opposite called Bella Napoli.The hotel owner/reception is fantastic and cannot do enough to help ... o que as pessoas dizem » - he is what makes the hotel a standout. We loved Luxembourg - there is plenty to do for a three or four day break. It is so easy to walk around and t - The concierge at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. He took us to a restaurant, he served an excellent breakfast, he told us how to get on the bus. We felt like family. He needs a raise. The orange juice at checkin was a bonus. The breakfast was superb. The decor of the hotel is fantastic. We will be recommending this hotel to our travel agent.
