  Ourgrown family of 5 stayed overnight this week while visiting the snow monkeys. The hotel and staff more than met our expectations. The hotel was smaller than expected, but that was a plus. The rooftop onsens were fabulous, the first we have tried in Japan. The recommendations for local restaurants given by staff were spot on.   Beautiful location so much to see and do. Onsen was amazing as was the monkey park. Felt really taken care of by the staff. Food was fantastic! Highly recommend!! It's a must see - Very remote and peaceful. The staff very attentive and made us a fabulous traditional meal. We were the only 2 guests that night. The onsen.
