Located in central Tokyo just a 10-minute walk from 4 subway stations, Ryokan Tsutaya offers an opportunity to experience Japanese culture: Japanese-style rooms, Japanese cuisine and public baths.
The quiet rooms feature traditional tatami (woven straw) floors and futon bedding. Rooms come with a tea set, and a mini fridge is available upon request. Bathrooms and toilets are shared.
Guests can relax in the large public baths offered by Tsutaya Ryokan. Iaido martial arts lessons are available, and a Japanese flute concert can be arranged for groups of 10 or more.

Hongo San-Chome Subway Station is the nearest station to Ryokan Tsutaya. Ikebukuro and Shinjuku are less than a 15-minute subway ride from this station. The University of Tokyo is about 500 metres away.
