Glamorous hotel with a massive shopping area downstairs. Staff were prompt and polite and the room was good. Location is great with trains going to shinjiku only 4 stops away, or the sky tree 20 minutes or so the other way. Definitely not my first stay at a five star hotel but Tokyo Palace is indeed one of the best I have experienced. Attention to details is key to Palace hotel, try and you will understand what I mean. -

We were highly impressed and enjoyed every moment of our stay.
Lovely efficient staff, gorgeous huge stylish rooms, extremely comfortable beds and linen.
We booked in for the last 3 nights of our trip and couldn't hope for a better ending to the trip.
The 4 subway lines at the bottom of the building were great for exploring everywhere.

This hotel is the second best I have ever stayed at, only being surpassed by the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The staff were fantastic, I have never been served by more attentive staff at any hotel. The room was fabulous, we were given one on the top floor with an awesome view, the amenities in the room, everything was spotless and clean. The breakfast was great, eggs cooked to order, delicious smoked salmon, and again fantastic staff. I would not consider staying anywhere else if I were to visit Tok

Staff generally were nice and helpful. But girl at concierge impressed us most. We arrive on a rainy afternoon and were with our luggage . The girl at concierge saw us from far when we crossed the road from the train station and she went inside to get towels ready for us. She even helped my mother pat her coat and bag dry. Very grateful for her impeccable service.

Compared to other Five star hotels in Tokyo that I have stayed in, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo is the best so far. It has a wonderful and convenient location, a luxurious and comfortable room. The service levels were the best, every staff catered to my every problem, they even accompanied me to the train station to help me out.
I would recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Tokyo!

The Concierge staff were first rate. They got me all my bookings for the top restaurants with advance notice and keep me informed in all the places to explore.
