Where does one start with Yuzuya? I stayed for two glorious nights and the place is amazing. Worth every penny: the room is beautiful, with antiques and everything just so. The highlight is the food! I had two dinners and both were some of the best food I have ever eaten. Exquisitely presented on Kyoto pottery, each dish was a work of art. Breakfast was also amazing. This is a very special place- stay here if you can. You'll be a 10 minute or so walk from many of the top temples and walking are

1) Breakfast - European buffet was to die for!! they cook ham in front of your eyes, excellent choice of fruit, muesli, sausages, fish.
2) Spacious room.
3) Staff speaks good English and very helpful, allowed us to leave our luggage for free for 3 days even when we left for Tokyo and then didn't come back to Hyatt again.
4) Locality is really convenient for both sightseeing (next to Kyoto Museum and various temples) and logistics point (5 min from train/shinkansen station)

comfortable with the public bath. Overall the place is nice, staffs are
friendly and the meals are excellent.
The scenery is nice. My husband and I took a morning walk about 1 hour to explore the nearby places.
