  Excellent location. 2 mins to bus station and approx 10 mins of enjoyable walk to gondola. Both Mr and Mrs Maruyama treating us like family, we feel like we have a mother looking after us in Hakuba.   Location was excellent both for mountain access and also for easy stroll to restaurants and bars. Staff were locals and helped as much as we needed. Great inside/outside Onsen within the hotel, and the included Japanese and Western breakfasts were buffet style and had a good range to choose from.   The room was huge with is very appreciated in Japan. The onsen, free for guest at the hotel is a real treat after a day of skiing. The restaurant of the hotel as a very complete buffet at a real reasonable price. The working distance to Happo One is 5 minutes walk.   The staff was wonderful. It was like home. It was a fantastic stay. Very traditional Japanese and made our vacation great. Great food and facilities. Close to the Gondola for skiing. I the middle of Happo-one and 2 min the bus station. I can highly recommend this hotel. 10/10
