Very peaceful and lovely environment, embedded in smoothly hilly countryside with view to Perugia and the Valle D'Umbria. Practically everything. We spent there two weeks and it was so far our best stay in Italy. The owner of the place Alessio with his family was very friendly and helpful. Our kids loved him from the first day.

We loved everything about this converted mill cottage. On walking out of our front door each day we were treated to a fantastic view of Assisi on the hill above us, ten minutes uphill walk or a short bus ride away. At night it was like looking at a fairy land of lights. Mario and his wife were so helpful, he even gave us a bottle of his home made wine and cakes and biscuits on arrival. This was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay, not only for exploring Assisi but other towns in Umb -

uphill). We were greeted with chocolate and cake. We were offered fresh
vegetables from their garden, delicious fresh eggs. We missed the bus
stop, we were picked up in town. We were brought to train station. Dear
Family, my friend and I are grateful for all your help. We had a very
nice stay in your place. Could have been longer.

We stayed at the Casa Campiglione for four nights in May to visit Assisi and other hill towns in the area. Our room and bathroom were spacious, immaculate and comfortable. We had booked a superior room and it had a small balcony with a vew of Assisi.

Very nice family run hotel. Lots of rooms. Ours had a balcony and was very quiet. Breakfast was typical European fair. The location is the best for visiting Assisi which is literally just down the road. We found it very homey and relaxing. It is good value for the money and we would stay there again.
